The Putnams Organic buckwheat hull pillow is a natural alternative to our foam range of products. We use 100% organic buckwheat husks and a 100% cotton, undyed, unbleached cover to keep this product as natural as possible. This pillow also comes with two covers (one internal cover to hold the organic hulls and one external cover to change more often for washing.

We fill our buckwheat pillows to the brim meaning that when they arrive they are very thick. We advise that you remove hulls to suit and store them for future use. The firmness of the pillow cannot be altered, buckwheat pillows are firm.

Buckwheat hulls are easy to manipulate into shape for bespoke support every night. They are also naturally hypoallergenic and are much cooler than standard foam pillows.

Washing: Covers can be washed however buckwheat hulls cannot. To clean hulls, lay out in the sun or freeze.

Please note: this pillow is made from organic matter and therefore users may note a “wood-like” aroma, this is normal. Due to the nature of the pillow it is louder to sleep on than a standard pillow, some people remark it sounds like ocean waves. We also recommend that you use this pillow with your standard pillow case on top.
